Reka Zalan is a Berlin-based Techno DJ and promoter. Reka's sound is a palpable blend of cosmic and driving Techno, combining deep, gloomy vibes and psy-tinged, trippy elements as well as more uplifting, percussion-heavy, groovy and tooly facets.
In addition to recent recurring B2B appearances with colleagues such as Rill, she also plays under the name No Life Signal, a B2B duo with fellow DJ THNTS, with whom she co-hosted the ://elements series at ://about blank for several years while she was still part of the club's booking team. Since the beginning of 2023, she has had a local residency at the well-known Berlin club Tresor.
Beyond the decks, she has been a staff member at Hard Wax since 2019, one of Berlin's essential record store addresses. Furthermore she's part of Coppi, a cultural space and network with weekly community-driven studio sessions. Before fully immersing herself in club culture, she worked at the Berlin Music Commission, supporting the city’s music industry network.
